WHAT IS VETERANS DAY?
Veterans Day, a U.S. government holiday, is an opportunity to respect and thank the individuals who are serving or have served in the military are still with us.
Note that Veterans Day is not the same as Memorial Day, or, in other words to reflect and recollect the individuals who lost their lives in support of their nation.
On Veterans Day, consider how you can demonstrate a veteran additional appreciation. Go to a Veterans Day march or occasion in your general vicinity. Get some information about their administration and truly listen. Visit a VA doctor's facility. Display the banner to salute our veterans! Perceive how to appropriately display the American Flag.

In Canada, November 11 is called Remembrance Day. This day, like Memorial Day, respects veterans who have kicked the bucket in support of their nation.
